Each year the West Pride festival is held in Gothenburg. An art and culture festival that creates safe spaces for LGBTQI people and emphasizes norm-critisism and LGBTQI person’s lives.

In 2019 West Pride had 89 000 visits, over 270 program items, 15 000 participants in West Pride Parade, and 30 000 onlookers of the same –numbers we were hoping to exceed in 2020.
Unfortunately, West Pride 2020 had to cancel due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Instead, we are looking forward to West Pride 2021 which will take place on 27 September – 3 October. 

Pride House will be organized around Götaplatsen and Pride Park will take place in Eriksbergshallen. You find the route for for Pride Parade here.
